Dealing with a Sticky think about it? could I have helped you out a bind next week with this?:
Closer :Ok you think this could be the answer for you ?
Yeah, I think it could work. I think it could.
Closer :Okay, so do you want to go from here?
Oh, I need to think about it.
Closer :That’s not a problem. And let me ask you, if I could click my fingers now when I got you the result, would you do it?
Yes
Closer :Okay? And I’ve done a good enough job explaining how I’m going to get you from where you are now to where you are looking to go?
Yes
Closer :Okay, just so I understand, if you feel like this is going to get you where you’re looking to go, it could be the answer for you and ive done a good enough job explaining.how I’m actually going to get you there. What’s, what could possibly prevent us from potentially, you know, strike while the iron is hot and going for it ?
Oh you know ,I kind of just need to go away and think about it.
Option 1
Closer :I hear you so what would be your thought process or what would be the equation that you’d need to have in your mind, so that you could actually think this is the right move for you… Because the last thing I would want for you to do is put distance between yourself and a decision that’s actually going to help you get the x y Zed outcome that you’ve really been wanting.
So what we tend to find is that a lot of people don’t actually know the criteria that they need in order to make a decision. So what they do is they go out, and they say, oh, yeah, let me think about it. And then they could pop onto maybe five or 10 or 15 calls, and then they miss so many opportunities to actually get the problem that they wanted solved.
So I’m just curious, what would it what what specifically, would you need to see or hear so that you could actually make that decision to maybe to move forward
Or
Option 2
Closer :when somebody says that, they can see that the process and how it’s going to actually work for them yet they need to go and take time out to think about it often fall into three categories.
Number one is that they, they just don’t feel like the programme or the process will actually get them where they want him to go.
Or sometimes it could be a case of that they feel somehow inherently that they’re not going to be able to do the job themselves.
And sometimes it’s just, just a little bit of fear, a little bit of hesitation, which is perfectly natural when we’re making a change in life.
I’m just curious, could the need to think about it, Could it possibly stem from one of those possible reasons at all?
